  • Reiki is a gentle, natural practice that works with the body’s energy system to support balance, relaxation, and healing. The word “Reiki” comes from Japanese and means “universal life energy.” A practitioner acts as a channel for this energy, allowing it to flow where it is most needed—whether for physical, emotional, or spiritual support.

It is not a massage or manipulation of the body. Instead, Reiki is usually experienced as a calming flow of energy, often bringing sensations of warmth, lightness, or deep relaxation. Because it is non-invasive, it can be offered in person with light touch (or hands held just above the body), or remotely at a distance with the same effectiveness.

  • A Reiki session can take different forms depending on the needs of the client.

In-person sessions usually take place with the client lying down, fully clothed, in a relaxed position. Depending on the purpose of the session, the practitioner may focus Reiki energy on a specific area (for example, to support with pain or tension) or guide the energy through the whole body for a more complete rebalancing.

Remote sessions are equally effective. In this case, there is no need for the client to be online during the treatment, but it is important to prepare a quiet and comfortable environment. The best results come when the client is resting, meditating, sleeping, or engaging in gentle, calm activities while receiving Reiki.

After any Reiki session—whether in person or at a distance—it’s important to give yourself time to integrate the experience. Ideally, set aside a few quiet hours, avoiding TV, movies, or highly stimulating activities. This helps the body and mind fully absorb the benefits of the session.

  • Reiki can benefit anyone who is open to receiving it. Because it works on an energetic level, it supports people in different ways depending on what they need most at the time. Some clients come with very specific concerns, such as physical pain, stress, anxiety, or difficulty sleeping. Others simply want a moment of deep relaxation, to recharge, or to feel more balanced and connected.

Reiki can be supportive in times of transition, emotional intensity, or recovery, but it is just as valuable for those who feel well and want to maintain their overall sense of harmony. It doesn’t replace medical care, but it can complement it by helping the body and mind enter a more relaxed and receptive state for healing.

  • Remo brings together over 15 years of experience in the emergency management and humanitarian sector with a deep commitment to personal growth and transformation. His professional journey has been shaped by working in high-pressure environments where clarity, resilience, and human connection were essential — qualities he now brings into his coaching practice and Reiki healing.

As a transformational coach, Remo has completed the Accredited Diploma in Transformative Coaching, a Level 2 course accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC), and the Association for Coaching (AC) — a program recognised worldwide for its rigour and high standards.

Remo is also a Reiki Master (Level 3, Usui Shiki Ryoho) — the original system of energy therapy developed by Mikao Usui in Japan in the early 20th century. This tradition channels “universal life force energy” through the practitioner’s hands to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. It is a practice rooted in hand positions, energy attunements, and the Five Reiki Principles, which cultivate balance, clarity, and a healthy mind.

Remo integrates these diverse experiences to create a holistic, practical, and supportive space for clients who want to work consciously on themselves and achieve meaningful change.
