Reiki is a gentle, natural practice that works with the body’s energy system to support balance, relaxation, and healing. The word “Reiki” comes from Japanese and means “universal life energy.” A practitioner acts as a channel for this energy, allowing it to flow where it is most needed—whether for physical, emotional, or spiritual support.
It is not a massage or manipulation of the body. Instead, Reiki is usually experienced as a calming flow of energy, often bringing sensations of warmth, lightness, or deep relaxation. Because it is non-invasive, it can be offered in person with light touch (or hands held just above the body), or remotely at a distance with the same effectiveness.
-
A Reiki session can take different forms depending on the needs of the client.
In-person sessions usually take place with the client lying down, fully clothed, in a relaxed position. Depending on the purpose of the session, the practitioner may focus Reiki energy on a specific area (for example, to support with pain or tension) or guide the energy through the whole body for a more complete rebalancing.
Remote sessions are equally effective. In this case, there is no need for the client to be online during the treatment, but it is important to prepare a quiet and comfortable environment. The best results come when the client is resting, meditating, sleeping, or engaging in gentle, calm activities while receiving Reiki.
After any Reiki session—whether in person or at a distance—it’s important to give yourself time to integrate the experience. Ideally, set aside a few quiet hours, avoiding TV, movies, or highly stimulating activities. This helps the body and mind fully absorb the benefits of the session.
-
Reiki can benefit anyone who is open to receiving it. Because it works on an energetic level, it supports people in different ways depending on what they need most at the time. Some clients come with very specific concerns, such as physical pain, stress, anxiety, or difficulty sleeping. Others simply want a moment of deep relaxation, to recharge, or to feel more balanced and connected.
Reiki can be supportive in times of transition, emotional intensity, or recovery, but it is just as valuable for those who feel well and want to maintain their overall sense of harmony. It doesn’t replace medical care, but it can complement it by helping the body and mind enter a more relaxed and receptive state for healing.

Remo brings together over 15 years of experience in the emergency management and humanitarian sector with a deep commitment to personal growth and transformation. His professional journey has been shaped by working in high-pressure environments where clarity, resilience, and human connection were essential — qualities he now brings into his coaching practice and Reiki healing.
As a transformational coach, Remo has completed the Accredited Diploma in Transformative Coaching, a Level 2 course accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC), and the Association for Coaching (AC) — a program recognised worldwide for its rigour and high standards.
Remo is also a Reiki Master (Level 3, Usui Shiki Ryoho) — the original system of energy therapy developed by Mikao Usui in Japan in the early 20th century. This tradition channels “universal life force energy” through the practitioner’s hands to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. It is a practice rooted in hand positions, energy attunements, and the Five Reiki Principles, which cultivate balance, clarity, and a healthy mind.
Remo integrates these diverse experiences to create a holistic, practical, and supportive space for clients who want to work consciously on themselves and achieve meaningful change.

My wish is to create a small island of calm through Reiki—a place where every session feels like a little holiday from everyday life. Fifty minutes in which you don’t have to do anything, yet are free to receive so much.
I’ve always been a very active person. Movement has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, giving me energy and helping me feel connected to myself. Yoga and meditation have also accompanied me for many years, offering moments of stillness and calm.
I went to my first Reiki session simply out of curiosity. I had listened to a podcast about the body’s natural ability to heal and the possibilities of Reiki, and I wanted to experience it for myself.
During the session, I felt warmth and a gentle tingling throughout my body. But what touched me even more was how I felt afterwards: a deep sense of peace, lightness, and the thought, "Wow… this feels wonderful."
Although I was already familiar with moments of stillness through yoga and meditation, this experience was different. For the first time, I experienced how much can happen when I simply allow myself to receive—without concentrating, without trying to achieve anything, and without actively doing anything at all.
That experience changed the way I see rest. I realised that we don’t always have to do more in order to feel better. Sometimes the most meaningful things happen when we allow ourselves to simply be.
Today, I want to offer that same space to others—a space where nothing has to be achieved, changed, or accomplished. A space to arrive, let go, and recharge.
As a Reiki Master in Authentic Reiki, I create a space where you can step away from everyday life, allow your nervous system to settle, and reconnect with yourself. In a world shaped by constant busyness, overstimulation, and endless availability, these moments of stillness can be incredibly valuable.

Reiki is a Japanese practice that works with universal lifeforce energy. The word Reiki is made up of two Japanese words: Rei ("universal") and Ki ("lifeforce energy").
During a Reiki session, this energy is channelled through the practitioner's hands, either by gentle touch or by holding the hands just above the body.
In Authentic Reiki, every treatment follows a clear and well-established sequence. At the same time, every experience is unique, as the energy naturally flows to where it is needed most in that particular moment.
The effects of Reiki can be experienced on many different levels—physical, mental, and emotional. Many people describe a deep sense of relaxation, inner peace, or renewed clarity. The body is invited to let go, the nervous system can settle, and the mind often becomes quieter. This creates space for regeneration, renewed energy, and a deeper connection with yourself.
Every Reiki session is unique and meets you exactly where you are, offering what you need in that moment.

Reiki may be a supportive practice for anyone who:
longs for peace and relaxation
finds it difficult to switch off
feels stressed, overwhelmed, or exhausted
would like to take a mindful break from everyday life
wants to reconnect with themselves
wishes to make time for rest and self-care
No previous experience is necessary. Reiki can be experienced by people of all ages.
Reiki is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. However, it can be a valuable complementary practice that supports your overall well-being.
You don't need to believe in Reiki to experience it. Simply come with curiosity—and leave your expectations at the door.
